Excillum is now expanding its product portfolio by launching another X-ray microfocus source product featuring its patented and unique liquid-metal-jet technology. The new MetalJet C2 will complement the existing product range by offering an entry-level alternative, enabling more users to benefit from the MetalJet technology and its capacity.

“By expanding our portfolio with the MetalJet C2, we are able to reach a broader group of users. Our intent is for this new product to constitute an affordable alternative to users requiring a microfocus X-ray source with features and performance beyond a conventional solid anode X-ray source, yet not the full performance of the MetalJet D2+ family, with the future option to upgrade to MetalJet D2+ performance. The aim for Excillum to become the preferred supplier when choosing an X-ray source is further strengthened by MetalJet C2, which nicely complements our current offer”, says Björn Hansson, CEO of Excillum.

The MetalJet C2 is built on similar technology as the more advanced MetalJet D2+. The two models are compatible so that the user may upgrade their MetalJet C2 unit to become a MetalJet D2+ at a later stage. MetalJet C2 is available to order with regular lead times and pre-orders have already been delivered.
