Webinar: Unlock synchrotron SAXS/WAXS applications in the home lab

Date/Time
Date(s) - November 30, 2021
3:00 pm - 3:35 pm

Speaker: Dr Julius Hållstedt, Business Development, Excillum

SAXS and WAXS are techniques that have gained increased recognition in recent years thanks to a number of technical developments such as more powerful X-ray sources, faster sample handling, noise-free detectors and user-friendly softwares, etc. Among these, the X-ray source plays a significant role for many challenging applications involving e g anisotropic samples, weak scatterers, non ambient studies and time-resolved requirements.

With the introduction of the Excillum MetalJet X-ray source, scientists are now able to take on even the most challenging applications that previously were only doable at dedicated synchrotron SAXS beamlines and perform those also in their home lab. They now benefit from faster experimental turnaround time and more optimized experiments.

By joining this webinar, you will:

  • Discover the MetalJet X-ray source and its suitability for high-end SAXS and WAXS.
  • Explore user examples of GI-SAXS and WAXS, BIO-SAXS etc.

The webinar is approximately 30 minutes, followed by a 5 minute Q&A.
