Excillum AB, a leading company in the field of high end micro- and nano-focus x-ray sources, today launch its latest product the “NanoTube N1 60 kV” at the XRM 2016 in Oxford. The XRM2016 takes place on Sunday August 15, 2016 through Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, Oxford, UK.

The NanoTube N1 60 kV is based on the advanced electron optics refined from the workhorse MetalJet e-beam platform and the latest tungsten-diamond transmission target technology. Automatic e-beam focusing and astigmatism correction ensures that the smallest possible truly round spot is achieved at any voltage and current setting. The NanoTube furthermore have the unique feature that it internally measures and reports the current spot size. In addition, advanced cooling and thermal design results in extreme stability over long exposures. All in all, this enables an unprecedented true resolution of 150 nm lines and spaces.

“We are very pleased to launch this exciting new nano-focus x-ray tube with unparalleled possibilities for x-ray image resolution and detail recognition.” says Julius Hållstedt, Head of Sales and Business Development.

Also featured at the conference is the latest development and applications update of the product line of MetalJet microfocus sources, D2 70 kV and D2 160 kV.

The NanoTube N1 60 kV and the latest news on MetalJet sources is presented by Excillum CEO Björn Hansson in the plenary session “Mon2” on Monday, Aug 15 at 11:40-12:10.
