A team from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg presents a grating interferometer based on a MetalJet X-ray tube, as well as a self-built high resolution detector. They show that the small spot-size of the MetalJet makes the use of a source grating unnecessary. This work was presented at the XRM 2014 in Melbourne, and published in AIP Conference Proceedings 1696 in January 2016.
