X-ray phase contrast CO2 angiography of sub-10 µm vessels

The KTH/KI team investigates the limits of the CO2/phase-contrast imaging method and concludes that sub-10-µm vessels can be imaged in thick tissue at acceptable dose, a factor 5-10 better than any competing method. The method is demonstrated in mouse ears and relies on the high brightness of Excillum MetalJet sources.
