FIXED ANODE SYSTEMS

In addition to its unique power loading capability the Excillum x-ray sources also have an unprecedented x-ray spot quality due to the unique high performance electron gun and optics design. For customers who require good quality spot (such as needed for phase contrast imaging) but do not require the flux generated by the liquid-jet anode system a lower cost, fixed anode version is available. Here the power loading capability is similar to conventional tubes (as is the cost) but with the benefit of Excillums proven x-ray spot quality.
