About Excillum

Excillum was founded in 2007 as a spin-off company from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden. Our mission is to develop, design, and manufacture extreme-brightness microfocus x-ray sources for demanding applications.

The Excillum metal-jet anode microfocus source is the new standard in the world of x-ray sources. Any application that is currently using a conventional microfocus x-ray source will benefit from an upgrade to an Excillum source.

Excillum and its employees are dedicated to finding the best solution to our customer's needs. We work in close collaboration with our OEM and end customers to provide the optimum x-ray source for any application.
